Mijumaru's (Oshawott's) final evolution.
He seems happy enough.

I like this one myself actually, makes me more interested in Mijumaru than I was before, anyway.
Yeah, it's been confirmed by serebii.net and a few other sources, so I've been told.
Some people are still flipping out about it and hoping against hope that they are fake because they don't like how the final evos look.

Well, this guy actually convinced me to start the game with the Water starter.
Not a fan of the Grass starter losing his limbs... kinda bugs me. *some guy beats me to the ground "GET OVER IT, WUSS!"* Doesn't help I don't like serpents as much also.
Anyways I'm happy this came true! I like this guy! :D

Yeah, but I think that's more to do with the fact that a lot of people are flipping out about these evos because they're hoping against hope that they are fake because they don't like how they look.
Looking at the starter final evos from a design standpoint I'm pretty much convinced they're authentic.
But until the games come out I guess nobody will be convinced for sure.

To everyone (myself included) who thought Mijumaru was an inbred ugly snowman otter and was going to have a shitty evo.... we've officially been given the finger by the designers.
This poor bastard is the ONLY evo that looks decent, even if its NOTHING like its prevos. In fact, I think that's its best quality.

I like how this evolution looks. I also loved the look of Smugleaf's though. It made me want to choose Smugleaf.
But that one was proven fake. So I really don't have much hope this one is real either. :c
The only evolutions I didn't like were the pig's, which is ironic because just based on the starting evos, I loved the pig most. XD

I know these evolutions were reported fake a short time after being made public, but since then they have been restated as being authentic.
They seem convincing enough to me, with all the cultural/historical references they're making, as well as the design elements incorporated into their design.

Well, the seaotter is taking the same direction as squirtle did. Blastoise looked nothing like it's pre-evolutions at all, and I never liked Blastoise much :\
The only water type I liked the best was Totodile's, other than it's second evolution. I didn't get why he looked like a caveman :V
Mudkip was the only one that really stayed the same throughout it's whole evolution.
