This isn't a proper piece of artwork. Just a test. Been playing around with animation, and while I think I've got the rendering side sorted out, I don't think I know how to post it. This is just one scene and I've already had to cut it down to about 15% of the quality of the render. Surely GIFs can't be the only option...
EDIT: Thanks for the comments clearing this up. It seems uploading anything beyond this level of quality/length is a no-go unless I upload elsewhere and just post a thumbnail and link here. This has been very educational. Much appreciated! :)
I'll leave this little experiment in the gallery anyway, even if I'm not 100% seeing it as is.

Mega seems to be the place I find a lot of animations. Or even a shared Google Drive. Even at the lower rate, it's still awesome to see here but other sites will give you the bandwidth and storage for a better experience.
Buzzbay also linked animations to Mega since they play better on that site.

I'm not sure if you've ever chatted with buzzbay on here, but he is a terrific 3D artist like yourself and I believe he has managed to post some animated content here or at least was able to link to it. He might be able to help.
you'll want to render out full-res and then use a third party like adobe media encoder to compress and output it in a web friendly format like mp4 or gif.
with a gif, if you index the colors the filesize could be way smaller since it'll use approximate colors (256) instead of all 16 million exact versions.
hope this helps!

Don't bother with trying to upload directly to FA, it's a waste of time. Instead you can upload a screenshot or a short preview of the animation and include a link to the full video in the description (Mega or Dropbox are both good options). Also a good idea to include stuff like "animated", "link in description", etc. in the title and/or thumbnail so people know there's a video.
