This is #7 out of 100: Heaven
I fought in my head for nearly a week on how I wanted to represent this one. I thought of everything from a cold pitcher of iced tea on a hot day to the renaissance notion of clouds and bright lights. Finally, I fell back a little into my own personal love of symbolic language decided to use the Japanese Kanji for heaven.
This particular symbol also represents the number ten. That's why it appears on this piece ten times.
As always, I would love some critique. I did this piece on a piece of watercolor paper using colored pencils.
