The only thing 
kupelcopel wanted to do is look inside a sunken ship and only leave foot prints, but ended up getting too close to a box of compressed air that happens to have a hose that fitted the intake valve of the suit and filled almost Indestructible thing to a room sized balloon either to be left stuck in the rafters or somehow make for a handy salvage buoy and pull the whole ship to the surface.
