How rare is that. Two pieces from me in rapid succession.
This piece has sort of become a work-in-progress for me. What I was trying to say with this piece changed twice as I was writing it. I think I've found some interesting ideas to work with, and I don't think I did them justice here. I think I can do better. As a result, I'd like to keep working on this, and make three separate projects out of the three stages. Of course, the odds of me actually succeeding in a project I set for myself are slim to nil, but don't be surprised if you see some of this lines again someday.
EDIT: Since I've actually made a fair amount of progress with the project this has become, I'm retitling this as a preview. I've finished the third of the three parts, but still need to write the second part, and finish the first one. I will move this to scraps as soon as I post the first part of the final product. I'm not sure how long exactly it will take me, but hopefully I can finish over the course of the next week, maybe sooner, if my inspiration holds.

I'd say this one is excellent so far, containing much in the way of truth and delivered well. If a God does exist and isn't just a wild goose chase, it's almost as if he is fleeing, to avoid the havoc and destruction mankind brings...which brings up an interesting scenario: what if we gain powers greater than that of the Gods before we should meet them?
Glad you think so. I've already started to work on the full pieces, so maybe there's hope for this as a larger project after all. The only problem is that I'm working on it backwards. I've made a lot of progress with the third part, but not so much the first or second. I can't very well post the third without the other two, haha. Ah well, progress is progress, and hopefully I'll be able to keep myself driven until completion.
