When your life’s at an end, a cloaked figure will come to guide you. Does he guide you to heaven? Hell? Neither. For he brings you to the Fugue Plane. A place where all souls go to be judged for their sins in life. Here you will be judged. Nothing is secret for the Wyrmspire of the Courthouse knows all. When you arrive at this stop in your final journey, count your blessings, pick a god and pray, for Ashuram knows all your deeds good and bad, and he is here to Judge.
An amazing commission from

The Obsidian Judge. The Wyrm of the Courthouse. Ashuram is the overseer of life and death. Taking up residence in the Fugue Plane, a small barren plane among the Astral Sea, he judges each mortal soul that passes into the hereafter. All their actions are weighed against them, from Lawful to chaotic, from good to evil, all to determine their reward or their punishment. And he does not discriminate. Even if you were a follower of his bretheren, if your actions were unjustifiable or evil, he will not hesitate to send you to the deepest circle of Baator.
Ashuram's most notable feat during the Calamity Wars was his victory over the Arakon the Gluttinous. Many statues of Ashuram depict him standing proud with the beaten Arakon beneath his feet.
Often believed to be the most powerful of the New Gods, Ashuram's worship has recently fallen out of practice due to people's fear and anxiety over the inevitablilty of their own death. Those who still worship him do so out of a beliefe that Life and Death is a balance that must be kept in tact.
