Backstory:
The MBT-140 maybe considered as one of the few apex predators that roam the battlefields. The creators of such a tank were impressed with this juggernaut of metal stand toe to toe against some of the enemies best machines of war. And come out on top in nearly every engagement.

The main purpose of the tank goes back barely under two decades where the LDN military requested a new main battle tank to replace their out dated Paladin battle tanks. They turned to the Mustang Armory Corporation to provide a new breed of tank for their forces in the battlefield. Such a task seem far out of reach for the corporation however they requested Crystal Dynamics Automative to help design the new series MBX series of tanks.

In the early years of this new tank’s development the collaboration between Crystal Dynamics Automative and Mustang Armory was cut short. Due to finical issues C.D.A went in bankruptcy and was bought by the large Eos Republic Automative Corporation RadLane Automative. However not all hope was lost as the designers of C.D.A provided Mustang Arms the blue prints to compete the tank project. So with the lost of their collaboration of C.D.A Mustang Arms continue the project and successfully compete the first prototypes within three years. Now named the MBT-140 War Chieftains they were set to testing and soon the LDN military where they final tested themselves in combat.

Surprised by the preference these tanks shown in testing and on the battlefield. The order was given LDN wanted their own version of this tank but they weren’t alone others wanted the tank including the Saragesso Republic which they called their version the MBT-140B Bloodhound, the United Colonies which there’s is called the MBT-140A, and of course the company that produce the tank has a small force of War Chieftains in their own private army. Though the famous one of these versions is the LDN’s version given the name by its enemies the MBT-140C Predator Tanks have served the LDN for nearly two decades and proved to be a trusted machine of war for its crews. To all those who are unfortunately to face one of these apex predators in combat your only options are to stand and fight or run before the War Chieftains make you their next meal.
