This is Eli "orca", the gunner of the ship Starfall that belongs to the neko-jin Kithari.

to explin more Eri used to live in the ocean on the planet Tema, but after she had a run in with a nasty shark, she got her tailfin trashed, and lost alot of her swiming power from that.

to make things worse for her, she was also captured by slavers, and sold to the local maffia. living in a very small aquarium for two years she was saved by kithari that had more or less just gotten there by accident, and toghter they fleed the planet.
