My host had expressed a desire to create a fallen soldier tribute as part of our parade entry. He had the proper bayonet, helmet and dog tags. I provided a mock M16A1 rifle--a "rubber duck"--to complete the display. A bag of play sand in the steel pail was the place to plant the bayonet here. Local vets appreciated the effort.
