But you have to remember what a fursona is-
in MY specific case, it's a representation of my inner self represented in the form of an anthropomorphic animal.

Every part of this characters design has a direct and strong sentimental meaning to me,
one of the symbolic references in this piece is my bandaid.

It isn't there to cover a wound or a scar, it is simply something to represent a state of healing,
as is the forever bleeding bandage, a message that says time can't heal ALL wounds.
