Lori was along in her last few weeks and still doing desk work at Preg INC. for her security position, even after Lilith and even Hiu saying she should take a break. "It's just a surrogacy, I can manage since we've got facilities on premises." It was still tough to move around though with triplets, even if they were still just kits. Busy writing into her paperwork as she sat side on to her desk, a screen materializing as she sat up a bit. -Okay, time for you to relax, big Tigxen.- Hiu was standing on the other side of the desk as she held a hand out for the paperwork, Lori sighing and handing it over with a small smile. -Just looking out for you, gotta take care of yourself.-
"Yeah, I know. Can't blame me for wanting to ride it out." Chuckling as she stood up, shooting a finger gun at the sharkess and the other held up and 'ready' as she smirked. "After all, I'm carrying it well huh? I get looks from everyone, well... lots of folks, not everyone. They're just so nice, and I can't wait to go through it again either." Saying happily as she waddled around the other side of the desk and rest a hand atop her tummy, the shark placing her free hand on the smaller gals shoulder and giving a nod before the screen cleared and continued. -I bet, just be sure if you need help to ask. People are here for you just like you said. We're all good people, just can't think you gotta do things by yourself.- Nodding back at Hiu before she started to walk out of the office. "Yeah, I appreciate that. Anyway, I'll see you after I've slimmed up a bit! Take it easy Hiu an... thanks, I appreciate it."
It's a very short little excerpt but it's a good one. Sometimes little scenes make a series right?
