Little bit of gift/fan art for
sonderjen 'cuz he's awesome, and his possum girl Carol is so freaking adorable. XD
Anyway, this is a die-cut magnet. I recently acquired some new art supplies and had to test them out. In this piece, I used my new mechanical pencils, new Kohi-I-Noor inking pen, and my new Copics. Yay!
I'll be offering commissions for these at All Fur Fun at the end of the month (for $10). I *might* consider doing some of these before the con for gas money to the con, with proper up-front payment...

drawn and colored on cardstock. I bought some "cuttable" magnet sheets yesterday (they're adhesive on one side), placed Carol on the magnet sheet, covered her with clear packing tape, and then die-cut with a regular pair of scissors. I don't know how well x-acto knives would cut through the stuff. I'll probably test that later. :0
A few days ago I heard this loud noise underneath the steps of my apartment... and this BIG FAT POSSUM comes scuttling out like you wouldn't believe. Took off running while it's big butt wiggled XD This thing was huge.
Lucky for you, your possum is cute. And your coloring is delish! I can honestly say your new supplies were worth buying ;)

I <3 BIG FAT POSSUMS. OMG. I was laughing my ass off at your story! XD
Ooh, why thank you! ^^ Yeah, I'm VERY happy with the Copics. MUCH better than Prisma, and less expensive in the long run. I figured out last night that (since Copics can be refilled) while the initial Copic costs around $6 (for Prisma, it's a little under $4 per marker), the refill package is only $7, and can fill the marker 6 times.
So... $6 + $7 = $13 for seven Copics in one shade
Prisma markers, on the other hand, are non-refillable
$4 x 7 = $28 D:
Copics are initially pricey, but in the long run, they are MUCH more affordable.
And I mean, look at that color saturation!!! 8D
