Octransfur story #2! Today's prompt was "gem." I think that this was one of the first ideas I had for this event, and I thought it was a good fit. This was actually supposed to be shorter than the last story, but it ended up becoming a bit longer once I did write it. I'd attribute it to the TF being somewhat more in-depth than previously. I also thought it was a more solid story overall, but not anything weird or experimental like the last one. I'm just surprised that I'm writing and finishing anything at this point.
