I was given an idea to do natural magitech by someone on the dragonscape server for the chimeras and kinda just loosely brainstorming on it. Consider this a VERY rough doodle with no real heavy worldbuilding but.
The idea goes that flutes carved from the same source powered by wild magic can communicate with eachother. You blow into the flute and a message blows back into your mouth, its a roundabout type of walkie-talkie or radio. But of course since you can't talk into a flute (obviously) the communication is done via morse code.
So that pizza order might be a bit tricky but, if ya got some flutes then hey you know, pizza via flute isn't a bad way to go about it!
Also this is still very heavy concepting for the Chimera world, it might go in a more weird west direction rather than this direction or it might swap around to something else, its still fast in loose with no real concrete lore so dont take this as final lore, just a concept.

Allow me to introduce you to Allied Communications Publication 131(B) - Communications Instructions Operating Signals.
"Hello Hobo, this is Ionotter. Can you hear me? Over."
Becomes...
KPHO DE KION INT ZBZ K
And you can respond:
"Ionotter, this is PatchedHobo. I read you loud and clear. Over."
Which becomes...
KION DE KPHO ZBZ 5.
Q and Z signals are still in use to this day, although Z signals are usually reserved for military transmissions.
Regardless, it should be easy to see how one can have an entire conversation with far fewer words, using only 1-4 letters at a time.

Once you get to know it, it really rolls off the fingers over teletype, and it's even faster in morse. Here's an example of some Q signals being used at 20WPM.
