This one comes from a photo of Tilla Durieux in "The Great Love" by Heinrich Mann (I'm presuming that the article being out of the title is weirdly stylistic). Some of these issues have wonderful old photographs or documentation of what contemporaries thought of things like D'Annunzio or Adolphe Appia's Wagner stagings. Lots of pictures of Shakespeare performed in the original German.
