I walked into the room and it smelled like a newly opened inflatable. That rubbery smell that wasn’t really stinky but also not really a good smell. It felt damp in the room, perhaps because I was in a basement.

There was nothing in the room. Until I looked up. Black thick goo hung from the ceiling. Before I can react it dripped down on to me. I wiped it with my hand and ran the goo between my fingers. Then my fingers got stuck together.

I tired tried cleaning it with my shirt but the goo stuck on there too. Turned out I still had goo on my head. It was cold and almost alive as it engulfed my head. I couldn’t pull it off especially since one of my hands was this giant flipper.

I couldn’t scream. My face completely covered but I could still breathe. Least what I thought was breathing. More goo fell on me. I fell on the floor. My body covered in goo. I felt light. My feet and legs becoming fins. My belly expanded with every breath.

A fin formed on top of my head. I even gained some handles. I somehow was still able to see, even though my body was filled with nothing but air. No organs, no way I should still be aware. I can only move my eyes.

The only thing I wanted now was to be placed inside a pool….so I waited
