I've been really digging Yoshitaka Amano's concept artwork, particularly the ones of FFIV/V/VI, so I gave it a shot. It turned out quite well I think! I still have a lot more to learn when it comes to applying watercolors, but it still feels so much better to me than a more painterly style. I'm going to stick with this style for a bit and get more practice in. And replay FFVI while I'm at it (again) :3c
