the next six characters -- the adults! ...and holly.

Rowan - dawn’s dad. he can be a bit high strung or unresponsive, but he’s a very loving dad despite being such a tough guy. he works as a lumberjack.
Aurora - dawn’s mom. she is eccentric and smothers dawn with love, even when she doesn’t particularly want it. she does a lot of volunteer work around town when not busy with stay-at-home mom tasks.
Mr. Umbra - the principal of CCHS. he takes his job very seriously, but tries not to be too high strung about it and be a principal that everyone likes. he doesn’t always achieve that goal.
Mother Elise - local church pastor and religious leader. she’s married to Mr. Umbra, and the two of them are good friends with rowan and aurora (which is extremely embarrassing for dawn). she is kindhearted, understanding, and always tries to help the needy.
Mrs. Honey - dawn and iggy’s homeroom teacher. she’s all cheery and sweet on the surface, but won’t hesitate to put you in your place if you step out of line. she grew up in the south, but moved to cape coast and got a job as a teacher.
Holly - freshman at CCHS. she somehow misses out on all the weird shit that happens in cape coast, and thus lives a fairly normal life. (until dawn and iggy get involved, anyway.)
