September 2021 Art Pack and Leaping Pillowing Base

Hey everyone, AJ here! I'm happy to report in we've been having a relatively great month. Our financials lately have been taking a pretty big hit as we catch up on our medical debt from a lot of tests early this summer. I think we're just about done paying those off finally! Now all that's left is a heap of credit cards which will be a bit of a chore but I'm feeling strong and confident to tackle it. I will get that immediate debt down to 0 I SWEAR!! FLEX!!!!

I've been feeling really hopeful and productive lately. It's been a big change in the household with Prov being able to help out more and even cook some home made meals, you wouldn't believe how much I desperately miss our cooking. It's just so yummy! But without a helper or a dishwasher, it really just kind of feels hopeless to keep up with home made meals on the regular.

The dirty house situation itself hasn't changed much. We still can't get get down on the floor to clean the way the house needs to be. The kitchen is pretty cluttered, and the basement/garage are a mess. It's just you get to the point of no return it feels like so you live with it like it's a punishment. And every time I try my best to clean a section it piles back up in a week, way faster than I can keep up so it's extra salt in the wooounds. Deep breath.

Still. Gotta keep trying. With the type of vaccine we got, it's not very effective and in our local area the Delta Variant is everywhere. So Prov has decided we are back in strict quarantine again until we can get boosters.

I'm hopeful maybe after we get boosters we can revisit the discussion of a hired helper stopping by once a week to help clean up the house/kitchen for us. I'm pretty desperate for it at this point. (;*´Д`)ﾉ

Regardless of the home sitch, we are SURVIVING. Keeping up with medications, keeping the dogs exercised and happy, both of us have been very productive at work. Just the living vibes have really improved lately and hopefully our luck will be turning in the new year? I know that's a lot to hope for. But Prov's work has been improving and there's a lot of talk of growth coming! Also a raise in January, so keep your fingers crossed for us? ;w; HERE'S TO HOPING IT ALL GOES WELL!

I've just been in a lot better place and trying to keep a regular home routine. Sadly it's mostly me chaining chores through the week and trying to save a spoon or two for the end of the night to draw and work on commissions. But regardless of the rigorous activity I have still been making time to draw and that's been really good for my soul. I miss it desperately right now.

So my biggest priority is to just make more time to draw and do my own commission work again. I want to do so much more creatively and I have to commit to just bossing Prov around or being a trash inhabitant raccoon person. I can do it. (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑
