Here's a little quick house track I put together after listening to retro house all day in my car! House isn't my strongest genre but I've been working on improving my techniques for it. I feel that this track is already a step up from my previous house works ;)
I aimed to put the elements from 80s-90s house while still keeping it pretty modern-sounding

Not a bad attempt, a bit minimalistic and repetitive, and the progression is quite slow in places. The build up around two thirds of the way in is a good section, but I regret it proves to be a bit of an anticlimax. It's a good base laid down, however, the bass is quite meaty, and the synths used give it a real modern taste. Definitely a promising start to build on. :)
