I was under the impression up until now that Esperanza was the very last civilized community after the nano/bio plague. That is infinitely relieving to see that other communities survived, I gathered that island nations would've had the best chance to be spared if they had set down strict quarantine procedures in time. I wonder if Rora's dad was calling from Madagascar ;D
