Once Anuhe had worn the bracelets they were bound to him, and he began to commune with the spirits of others that had worn them generations ago. However, as Nyx once explained to Anuhe, this seemed to be a special trait that was exclusive to him which the bracelets enabled. The others did have their own unique abilities, but it was different for everyone. So what exactly are these bracelets for, do they even have a purpose?
The one common theme Anuhe learned is that the bracelets unlocked hidden potential out of all of them, as well as amplifying their existing power. The bracelets did not merely bestow strength, it multiplied what was already there. Weak Pokémon would become strong, but those who started strong became godlike. It was beginning to make sense how someone like Emyris was able to maintain an unyielding dominance over an entire empire without challenge, or how Nyx nearly became deified for her ability to alter reality and grant wishes. With the bracelets, it was possible that Emyris' and Nyx's power could rival the power of Legendary Pokémon.
Anuhe was now starting to realize the same thing was happening to him. At first it started slow, being rationalized as hitting a critical weak spot or simply being lucky, but soon it became impossible to deny that the bracelets were granting Anuhe unnatural strength. He did not start off particularly strong, and it was unlikely he would ever be as powerful as Eymris and Nyx were. With enough training and practice though, who knows what other potential he may discover?
