An Amy Brown Inspired Fairy.
I did two small magnets similar to this fairy and to help teach a friend in our carving club how to add color with the colored pencils I decided to do a bigger, slightly more attractive version of the tiny magnets. My end result...I had a bad piece of wood =( All is well till her face...and if I had been paying attention I would have flipped the wood the other way and used the bottom half for her face because right where her lips are at, the grain is sunk in a bit...so it messed with her face. Still...I think she looks very pretty. Her wings and dress turned out great, exactly how I wanted =)
