Remember that pose I did from that comic? It turns out it helped me a lot in visualizing different pose styles. Plus I think it's fun to draw it.
I tried to do that full pose with the legs originally, but I need more practice drawing those legs and paws. Maybe tomorrow! Also, I think Jolly without eyebrows works a wee bit better. I dunno, what do you folks think?

Oh? He has a name now. Quite descriptive, too. ;) You're getting the idea of the pose well.
As ConnerCoon said, the removal of the eyebrows opens up the face more. He has those beeg splotches on his eyes that can be bent and shaped for expression if needed.
Looks generally good, but you lost some of the detail you had in the other version around his shoulders and neck i.e. collarbones.
Keep at it, you're making headway!
