Of the fresh crop of dryads who bloomed upon the Autumnal Equinox, Copse is perhaps the most frightening in appearance.
In spite of his best efforts - and older brother, Peach’s guidance - he couldn’t quite hold on to a ‘proper’ form. Glamors were similarly beyond him, and so he remained an obvious amalgamation of flesh and plant.

Copse decided that in spite of that, he still wanted to integrate into a clan, and so he focused instead on making himself useful. He trained to become a hunter and trapper, in spite of not eating meat himself. His kind are adept at moving through the woods silently, and he grew skilled in time.

He could innately tell which trees were beginning to die, and so made note he could be useful in choosing ones to chop down without harming forests unduly.

He trained to be as strong as possible, so he might be prepared for whatever danger he may encounter.

…He developed quite the competitive streak, because he had to be the best, the very best, to be accepted.

And so he left his siblings behind, searching for a home to call his own.
