Watching the Peacekeeper pose heroically and the Artisan visibly imagine stories from this new situation as they grew and flexed their way out of the planet's gravity finished cheering up the dragons.

It still is sad they can't all stay that gigantic permanently. But as you said: There are other opportunities and once present Spyro grows up, maybe they'll all be and stay solar system sized? ;3
I mean: How better to protect the planet, when the planet is surrounded by dozens of solar system sized studs and 1 godly universal sized beauty? ;3
