lol just my Kenwood amp and Dual subs. The thing was that the ground wire to my capacitor got unplugged so instead of storing extra power my fuse holder just kept getting hotter and hotter till that happened

that's why I don't use fuse blocks :P

what's the latter choice?

straight connection from the battery to the amp, I figure it this way, if the fuse doesn't blow, your car is going to burn to a crisp anyway. These fuse blocks they sell today are made of cheap cast aluminum, which is not a good conductor, it's better for heat dispersal, which is exactly what happened here, the frame of the block got so hot that it actually took the heat away from the fuse, in turn, the fuse didn't get hot enough to blow. I see you have a glass fuse block, that might actually work better, but I've never used one and never had a problem, but tis your car, I don't want to tell you what you should or shouldn't do :D

Well that definitely makes sense and I'll probly look into that later in life once I get the money to upgrade. And ps. my current fuse block is still plastic haha

LOL, you dork. I would say if ur burning fuse holders up like that, I would be upgrading that wiring to 4 ga. or 2 ga. if ur drawing that much power^^ hehe

I thought about it but at the same time I think it's just cause my capacitor's ground wire got unplugged. But for now it's good don't really feel like spending any more money on it right now haha

If its doing that to 0 gauge wire your really pushing some wattage. What system are you running

lol no im saying. my fuse holder is somewhat like that.except melted lol. i had 2000 watts running before it was stolen. im running 2 amps, 2 outdoor 12volt plugs and a inverter all of that 0 gauge wire with a 200 amp fuse in it.
