Marle Talbender has such an interesting powerset that I'm excited to see the practical applications it'll have during Taylor's story. The ability to breathe life into inanimate objects and change them into real life versions (as applicable) of their representations can be a terrifying and awe-inspiring sight. What was once cute and cuddly can be downright horrifying as it rampages towards you in defense of or in attack by Marle. Given that the next section of my books deals with a more steampunk culture, I wanted the artist to put her in something that would match the aesthetic of the style. What I got back was basically an early Halloween pic that somehow strangely served Marle's personality well. She has a lot of personal anger and issues resulting from her youth and sometimes getting revenge by proxy of another object is the perfect satisfaction.
