In a far future, mankind has reached unprecedented technological advances to face the ever growing challenges ahead. It was called the cybernectic age.
But due to human nature, some of these technological breakthroughs were used for warfare instead of improving mankind's global well being.

The Forward Operations Experiment (FO-x) had the goal to create sentient warmachines whose purpose was to infiltrate target areas, provide intel about and ultimately fight against any opposition encountered deep in ennemy territory.

With wars sparking everywhere and combats intensifying, the ressources available for the project became scarce and the program was abandonned, leaving only one prototype fully operational, number 12.

Now awoken from centuries of standby, FO-x 12 discovers a new, post apocalyptic world poisoned by radiation, scortched by climatic catastrophies in which humans still keep fighting for their own survival on a planet turned hostile while trying to maintain what's left of the cybernetic age technology.
Word is, he's not the only killer bot out there...
