Bio: Born before the era of peace in the Edo Period of Japan, Ryoko is said to be one of the last of her kind living in the world. In Japanese folklore, her kind were known to be the protectors of Japan and have incredible wisdom. As the world grew and Japan developed more and more of her kind began to disappear. Wether they left the realm of humans because of the developing world or vanished as people lost faith and the destruction of shrines grew more, it's still a mystery of what has happened to them all.

Ryoko resides high in the Kōya mountains where many shinto shrines still stand. Although, they became less of place of worship and more of a destination for tourism. Despite this, Ryoko still cares for the humans and tries to learn more about this developing world and to find out where and what has happened to her kind.
