Original Species: Elysian Manticore
The Elysian Manticore is a giant, simimorph (creature similar in biology to simians/monkeys) that inhabits the continent of Elysium, located northwest off the coasts of Arcadia. It was the first representative of the manticora genus ever to be discovered by modern scholars.
This creature is among the most powerful mammalian predators on the continent, hunting down anything too weak to defend itself. With its spiked and armored knuckles, it is able to both run at surprising speed as well as deal massive damage with brutal punches. The manticore's secondary weapon is its spiked tail, which it uses to brutalize prey and foes alike. Once the prey is weakened by tail slams and punches, the manticore delivers the final blow using its powerful jaws.
This creature is absolutely hazardous to be around! It is brutal and aggressive to a ridiculous degree. Not much else is known about the habits of this beast as few researchers dared to study it up close.
(the only reason Milo is standing there is to serve as a human measuring stick to show just how big this creature is... if I was paying him anything to begin with, he'd definitely deserve a raise...)
