Drawing I did of my character Granite last year. I have a WIP more detailed/ironed out ref sheet for him in the works. Mostly for the purposes of making his lizard man titties more visible lol

Granite takes the form of a fantasy lizard thing akin to Victorian dinosaurs that more or less looks like a giant tegu/iguana hybrid. He comes from a fairly isolated desert community after being ostracized and almost killed for being a vampire and turned into the most familiar animal he knew from his human form (turning into anthros is a thing in this universe for a wide array of reasons, but often shedding old identities).

He works as an executioner/animal slaughterer now for the royal family of the larger union of neutral states. He’s very much seen as a weird outsider but following a different moral code from others gives him the advantage of having no qualms with jobs nobody else will do. Despite being naked here, he’s usually almost entirely covered, by pokey spiky black armor for executions or long robes in less hostile situations. He lived in a society where everybody wore identical shrouds for the sake of anonymity and fairness and feels naked exposing much skin and only really does it in private.

Originally I had him become a usurper king but I find the idea of him as kind of neutral observer of all the corruption in the government a more interesting idea as time goes by. He’s pretty well trusted since he’s very disciplined and quiet and doesn’t really have a political stake in anything.

Terrible fun fact: Granite’s body shape is basically just a ripoff of Gene Simmons in the 90s, a big chungus but so leggy it’s not terribly obvious lol
