Alright! It may have taken much longer than I had anticipated, but here it finally is; the second part of the insanely long reunion story of Mara and Celeste and the pink mouse Cerise! The previous story, as you know, showed the Saturday of the weekend they spent together in the small town where Mara and Celeste live; this story shows the Sunday of that same weekend!
And man, did this story run away with me! If the first half, the Saturday part, was the longest Mara & Celeste story I had ever written already, this one turns out to be even longer! 15,425 words! So there's a new record; this is now the longest Mara & Celeste story ever written! I also think this will be the longest story on this wonderful couple ever; I'm sure not planning on making my future stories of these two so insanely long anymore! Then again... I hadn't planned on making these stories so insanely long either! So who knows what the future may hold... Celeste is one fickle muse, and she often runs away with me!
There was also so very much to tell in this story, and so many plans I needed to lay the basics for! You have seen it now; Cerise is coming to live in Gruno Town along with Mara and Celeste! And she'll be working at Mara's company! So there we have it, folks; she is a definite part of the steady cast now!
Along with that, we also see a lot of interesting history about the small town where Mara and Celeste live! It was fun creating all of that! And I needed to tie up some loose ends and rectify a few little mistakes I made in earlier Mara & Celeste stories... so that's all taken care of now as well! I even laid the base for another little plan I had... very attentive readers who also know my older works from before I started on the Mara & Celeste story series might have spotted it. But I ain't telling... you'll find out in future installments what I'm talking about
Anyway! Here we go! The Weekend Get-together for Mara, Celeste and Cerise is finally complete! Whew! What a big project it was! But totally worth it! Yeh!

Ah, the Great American Dutch Novel......ette. :) Now, I just need to put these two together into an ePub file, and read the two parts together... :)
Looking forward to see how you handle Minty's, Dusty's and Fifi's weekend story.... ;) Who knows how long THAT'll be!... ;) (Not that I mind, mind you... ;) )

Hee! Oh yes, I sure have been keeping you guys waiting on this, haven't I? But now that both parts are finally done, you can join them together and finally read the whole story
*chuckles*
Yes, now I have to get to that weekend story for Minty, Dusty and Feef... along with a few other projects I still have running and a new series I'm doing for which I've been dusting off one of my older and more important characters! But I'll get there in the end!

I'm still working on it! Been delayed, thanks to trying to clean up after kitties, who've been peeing on the bathroom... :( And discovering the toilet itself has a leaky sealer! :( The last week has been, shall we say, ugly... :(
I'm trying to get through it-- I'm already past the ker-yoinks! and Cerise moved to the floor-- I really should have had this done by now, I know! :(

Hee! Oh, I know what you mean... I've been insanely busy this week cleaning up as well, and Toby my kitty has been... let's say, not very helpful with that
But well, you have all the time to read through the entire great big story at leisure, so just take your time! After all, the slower you read it, the longer the enjoyment will last

I've been there-- It was just as hard when I wrote "A Night in Babs' Room", so I know exactly what you mean. :)

There's even a sequel-- "Scenes from the Morning After `A Night in Babs' Room'". :) The sequel also was made in to a comic-- here, and click "newer" for the next five pages (total 6). :) I don't do toons much these days... :)

*nod* I know you've read "Curious"- That is probably my most controversial story yet. :) My first posting on FA was "The Imperial Cheese Pickle Factory", which is my nod to both Arthur C. Clarke and Douglas Adams, all while eating leftover pizza. That should give you the mentality I was in when I wrote it- Silly me. ;)

Yes, I do like even having my little towns be very tolerant and open so that my characters can feel completely at ease there Hee hee, and I wouldn't worry too much, worst that could happen is that the people there would playfully mock you for forgettng their names all the time and making a joke out of it
*smiles and huggles*
Yes, Ceri definitely got a really lucky break in her life here! And now we will certainly see her featuring in my stories a lot more often!
