The Ark class is a civillian cruiser class titan, first grown in the early stages of the first surge war.
Only two grav cores give this ship less than standart manouverability and defensive capabilities for ships its size, but an extended suppy of energy storage structures combines with a redundant heat dissipation system allows the arc class to stay in subspace much longer than usual and rift again quicker.
First designed as heavy transport to supply materials and armaments to the front lines without giving the enemy interception chances to require less escorts the ark later became one of the major exodus vessels when the empire was loosing the war.
In deep space vanguard fleets the arks usually carry the other bound combat titans populace in suspension.
