The Warhound Armour is a personal suit that enables superior hunting capability in combat, while not large in terms of size it’s metallic roar, lethally sharp teeth and swiping tail is enough to send any enemy fleeing from sight. The power of a Warhound is truly formidable, the sheer strength of these mechanical wolves combined with their razor sharp talons and teeth can easily slice through flesh, armour and just about anything else. Warhounds are feared both by Dayatens and Monarchy Soldiers alike, few survive encounters and those that do often bear the physical and mental consequences of such an encounter. Users of Warhound Armour are empowered by the use of synthetic senses, stealth and strength and these, combined with optimal intelligence, can create an extremely versatile and effective hunter.
Warhounds operate in packs or on their own though obviously the larger the pack the more powerful the attack, a singular Warhound is ideal for reconnaissance, infiltration, medium combat and a variety of other tactical issues.
Physically speaking the more powerful, both physically and mentally, the user is the more powerful the armour becomes ; the muscular system works faster, the biotic senses are sharper and the whole suit reacts differently to each and every user.
It’s architectural design employs a firmly cemented exo-skeletal body that provides additional defensive capability and also allows the Warhound to be deployed from space to earth via the expulsion pods of Nautcore Orbital Cruisers, it’s main defensive plate consists of a specially designed flexible alloy made of pure metals that have an induced self-preservation and repair ability. S.A.F.E. (Survivability Adept Fortified Environment) - A fully coated network of layers, increments and systems allow the user to survive in hostile environments and also allow the user to survive for long periods of time without the most basic needs of sustenance, hygiene or physical activity. Hind ‘Firestorm’ Rail-gun Ordnance - Initial testing revealed that the Warhound lacked any forward attack against enemy forces that utilised ranged weaponry such as shard-based projectiles and light beams, additionally Warhound Immortal talons and fangs where useless against heavily fortified structures and buildings, a disadvantageous notion that threatened it’s use in direct assaults on enemy camps. The response was to install a weapon capable of delivering extreme ordnance over a large area with ease, the result was the ‘Firestorm’ Rail Gun module. While being slightly larger than it’s conventional S.A.I.D. brother it’s size and shape is nevertheless mobile and effective and easily adorned into the Warhound armour. Recharge wise the E.E.B. model only requires refuelling once every 195 years and can also, like the S.A.I.D., be recharged by a fixed, solid source of Alpha Radiation.
