It isn’t that often you see a park walking along with half a tree hoisted over their shoulder, But when you do, they’re likely on their way to feed a mob of chubby happy wallabies. ^__^
Red-necked wallabies in the wild are mostly solitary, but can gather in groups when there is a concentrated of food, water, and shelter. Of course, getting animals together who prefer to be alone can lead to some friction, especially in males, but a 2014 study are able to engage in conflict management like other more social animals. After a fight, the two opponents will get together and make up with friendly contact. I was assured by the park owners that the 5 wallabies in this enclosure are all cordial with each other, having known each other for so long. ^^
Hope you enjoy!
