So about a year and a half ago I bought a 72 set of Ohuhu markers but only made a small test headshot to see how well they'd work with my other markers from a different brand. While I did want to make a bigger, more substantial image to test them on their own, I just didn't have the time nor privacy with AGS going on and commissions getting in the way. The original sketch for this is actually over a year old-- my roommate lost his job shortly after we moved and so for nearly a year I just didn't have adequate privacy to work on anything traditional. I startle very easily from noise and sudden movements so I didn't want to potentially ruin something over a flinch.
Overall I'm happy with the Ohuhu brand. There is some "grease line" that I get in some places from where the ink stops somewhere because I tend to layer a lot, but that could be mitigated a bit from going over it with a blender in theory. I personally don't mind how it looks so I didn't bother, and I'll say that it's more noticeable in a scanned image than it is if you held it and saw it in person. The brush tips also make things like hair and fur so, so much easier since you don't have to fight with a fine/bullet tip to hopefully blob out the shape you want. Don't get me wrong-- bullet tips are still great for many things, but when it comes to hair and fur you end up having to compromise a lot. Sadly, for the longest time, Copic was the only brand that had brush tip markers. Other brands finally hopping on board is a relatively recent thing and I'm so glad it's more available now. Copic Sketch markers are about $6-8 while I purchased my 72 set of Ohuhus for about $60. The downside is that you can't buy singles if you happen to run out of a color, but in that case I'd buy singles of Prismacolor as they also now have brush tips and they're cheaper than Copic (usually $3-4 per marker). Ohuhu also has some nice curated sets now for things like pastel colors (the main sets have been criticized for being very midtone-heavy with too few light colors) and skintones, so it's a brand that actually seems to listen to creator feedback.
Sorry to sound like a shill but I'm very happy with these. If you're looking to get into alcohol markers I'd say to give this brand a try. If you also want to use lining pens with your markers please please make sure that they are not also alcohol-based as they will smudge like hell from the markers. Never use the same solvent type for both your lining and coloring. Alcohol liners would be great for something like watercolor, though. For this I used the Kuretake ZIG Cartoonist pen (fine tip) as it's more rigid than other brush pens and that works better for those who tend to be more heavy-handed while working. Other pens are too squishy for me while this one gives me a lot more control.
