Control over vegetals and fungus is a very powerful power. It isn't as flashy and straightforward as pyromancy but it's a versatile tool. Limitations depends on your imagination and the species properties.

Here, Cadeyrn uses 3 different properties to prepare his next battle : His shield is a very twisted tree he forced to growth with that shape, usually some very solid wood like ash or some ironwood. Roots and Ivy on the ground can become some whips or a net to hinder his foes and fungus spores around him make a cloud he can use to intoxicate or suffocate his enemies on melee.

With such strategy and defensive arsenal, it seems the liger is scheming to capture someone or something alive, with no blood shed. But if that fails, he still have few more surprise in his seedbag of tricks.

(On another note, did I say that I love how is pants seems to struggle to stay on his hips ?)
