Just figured this site would appreciate this beautiful boy. I post most of my travel pics on instagram (deliciouslyexplosive) since it’s easier for mass uploads. If you like old carousels (or old rides period) and are in eastern PA, Knoebels is absolutely fantastic
I’m picky on lion art but I love ones more in the stylized classical/heraldic side. Fun fact: a lot of turn of the century carousel carvers also made wooden figures for synagogues, and the lions are a constant between both.

I think that’s an older lion figure but it looks like a sad old dog in the only other pic I have with a glimpse of it lol. It’s cracked down the middle so its anguish is justified.
