Gobo Fraggle has been many things. Friend, leader, explorer; part of the party that discovered the Crystal Caverns, ringer of the Bells, writer of the (latest) Glory Song, honker of the Honk of Honks. But lately he's been having weird dreams that keep pulling at him, as if something out there were calling him. Like there's someone he knows waiting for him, far away... What mysteries are out there? What are these memories he can almost touch? And what does the hidden side of Boober have to do with it all?

I fully admit, this is a completely self-indulgent AU (but then the best usually are, right?). This itself is a teaser for something I want to put up on AO3; the prologue is already written so hopefully it'll be soon. But anyway! The idea is to explore another society of Fraggles- we have the Rock, Cave, Mer, and Ancient, what if there was another group out there? One that, similar to the Ancient, had a ruler system (albeit in a very Fragglish way of course), and had connections to the Fraggles we know and love.

As for the picture itself, it's marked traditional since that's what I spent the most time on, the color was added after to try and enhance things. Who's who is going to get answered later, though Sidebottom (and Gobo's outline of course) is obvious ;P I do anticipate more drawings in the future but if nothing else, the story series will come back and be linked here once I start uploading it. The picture's structure itself is inspired by one of the initial teasers for the DuckTales reboot, with the kids inside Scrooge's outline. Always been one of my favorites.
