This creature is of a species that I created personally for role play back in Secondlife in 2012, and she has remained close to my heart for many years. Since I could only create new characters by ripping apart ones I bought and gluing bits and pieces together, her original design was rough. This year I decided to redesign her and began my art journey paying tribute to all the good memories I've had and continue to have with her character. So, meet Musaamik the aalukris! Her species is from a realm where the trees grew so large and their canopies so thick it blocked out all sunlight and plunged the forest floor into darkness. As a result, the plants evolved a blue bio-luminescence, and the creatures who lived there as well. She was pulled from her realm into a different one, one where the sun shined, the trees were small, and there were other creatures called dragons that were like her, but not.
