This picture really hits home, because MY best friend moved away right around my senior year. We had planned to be awesome old ladies together, but they had to move to the other side of the country.

Emotion soaks this picture. I don't comment a lot because I am teh_shy but these expressions are so genuine and they tear my heart out.

Similarly, I've been going through quite a bit of this as well. Friends I've known for 12 years are beginning to separate, some just a city away, but others by states. It's hard, and sometimes the friendship doesn't last after relocation. I hope the best for you and your friend. Even if the communication winds down, the feeling will always be there. And hey, it could always be worse. You could be losing them to a drug, religion, or an abusive/jealous spouse. Moving away is lucky.

Thanks for the kind words I know I could be losing her to something worse. This way I'm not losing her forever, AND we're separating on good terms.

I know how you feel.. my best friend hasnt yet to move away, but when she told me she was going to leave I burst out crying. I've known this girl since I was 13 and one of the few people I can talk to about things. Keep in contact is all I can say and I hope the friendship lives on.

i shudder to loose the few friends i have being very antisocial somewhat shy i only know 5 or so people and they are the closest friends i have it would ripme to shreds to loose one
