As my entry for Spectember, I decided to take the "carnivorous flightless bats from the future" cliche and put an aquatic spin on it! This may look like an oddly proportioned dolphin, but they're actually descended from fisherman bats, or something similar. Said bats learned how to dive for food instead of snatching it with their feet and slowly became more and more aquatic - their wings became large, flexible flippers used for propulsion, and their nasal passages became a pesudo-melon for echolocation. They are a common sight in Earth-B417's oceans.
