Showing the progress from shaded sketch to final. Unlike "AM Espresso" , the picture was shaded before colored, with a much higher quality fill that was hand-done instead of using Illustrator's "live paint." The reason being this was a premium commission and Illustrator is terrible at handling bleeds- so the extra hours carefully tracing over each layer gives the final product a nice crispness.
