I wonder what the next thing I make will be?
Sheath I made for my lathing hatchet.
The thing never had a sheath, so I made it one like with all the other edged tools I have.
Having a desk to work at with this stuff has been fantastic. I can just crap these things out one after another.
A lathing hatchet is used for trimming laths and even nailing them up. The hammer head is put very high up
on the poll so it can tuck right up against the ceiling when putting up a lath and not damaging the ceiling.

I don't actually use it as a lathing hatchet, I use it to teach kids how to swing an axe when ever one strikes interest in it.
