Here is a sheath I just got done making for one of my draw knives.
Quite a few edged tools are with out a sheath, so I want to get that out of the way.
This draw knife was a restoration. The handles were busted and had no ferrules and end caps. I made the ferrules from the end of a CO2 cartridge for each, and the end caps were a circle I chiseled from sheet metal and made into a dome in the swage block.
The handles are made of sassafras wood and so is the large peg that I carved to hold the sheath shut.
Since so many components are of sassafras, I figured I'd embellish this sheath with sassafras leaves.
Not my best, but it is my first time doing leather sculpting or what ever the term for it is.
