20-year-old Camilia is one of Samia's longtime friends from back in Algiers, the set of friends currently headed by Medina. Camilia's family was originally from Southern Africa and moved to Algiers a couple years after she was born, and she met Samia and Medina when the three of them were in grade school. In middle school, the friends first met Tahira, and Camilia has harbored a secret crush on her ever since. Well, it was a secret crush until recently, when Camilia got up the courage to come out as a lesbian to her friends and ask Tahira out! Tahira was very surprised, but still happily accepted, and now the two are girlfriends! Growing up, she was a bit shy and awkward and kept to herself often, but she soon learned to open up more, and coming out and dating Tahira helped with this even further. Camilia does whatever that she can to help Tahira towards her goal of becoming a top-tier hairdresser, and in return, Tahira is helping Camilia practice in her chosen field, which is cooking. Camilia has dreamed of becoming a cook for a very long time and loves to make food for her friends and family. In fact, as a favor to Samia, she helped out with a number of dishes for Samia and Maxwell's wedding!
