Original Species: West-Arcadian Molehog
The West-Arcadian Molehogs are quite... "interesting" creatures. They fill the same ecological niche as the aardvark does on Earth; that being, the niche of a burrowing, nocturnal insectivore. They spend the day hiding underground in order to avoid large predators, such as dragons. They leave their burrows at night in order to look for termite mounds and anthills which they dig into with their massive claws and lap up hundreds of insects in one sitting with their long and sticky tongues.
They are fairly docile by nature and, as long as you don't actively antagonize them, they will pay you no mind. They are really chill creatures.
