because that would take twice as long and twice as much work. Its hard enough for me to make the designs making different poses would take kill me.
I have thought about making them different poses but its just to much work to even do more then just consider it.They would be alot more expensive to.

Adoptable are just for selling premade designs. Meaning the artist gets to pick something, stick the design and colors on, and sell them. They aren't selling the art, just the characters, so the art doesn't really matter. If that is what you were asking. xD; If not, sorry.

I have one question that I've never really asked before; does buying an adoptable give you the rights to draw and reproduce the character? And do you ever draw the adoptable creature at random times to further bring the character to life in a more precise and defined illustration? For example, if I were to draw adoptables, I might draw a purchased adoptable someday in the future for the person who purchased him/her.
the artist sells an adoptable. that character design now belongs to the person who purchased it. if you draw an adoptable that has already been sold for the person who purchased it, that is the same as drawing someone gift art. did that sort of answer your question? O'___O'
Do I understand correctly that you are saying when purchasing an adoptable, that design is now yours to do with what you see fit and any portrayals of that character by other artists (including the original creator) would be a gift provided they have the permission if required, and you can draw the character however you see fit?
Honestly I don't understand what is so hard about the concept of the whole thing. Depending on who you buy the adoptable from the rules for them may change. Some people don't care what you do with them other people do .
If you buy an adoptable from me its now your character and you can do whatever you want with it.
I do not have larger versions with transparent backgrounds and I do not prefer for people to re-post my art work elsewhere without my permission. I do however give the buyer a larger version of the character they bought for reference and personal use only.

There's nothing hard about the concept at all. As you said yourself, "depending on who you buy the adoptable from, the rules for them may change." I'm simply trying to find out what the rules are in this case since I'm rather unfamiliar with your adoptables personally Mimzy. I've purchased adoptables from several artists before, and in many cases I was given images with transparencies or high resolution images; I was simply trying to ascertain what I would be getting for my money since we are talking about PAYING for art. I really thought my questions were rational and justifiable. x.x;
It is but why couldn't you just ask that ?
What you would get with an adoptable from me is a high resolution picture of the design you bought no transparent background although if you really wanted to it could be arranged . and like i said I do not prefer to have my artwork re-posted without my knowledge or permission.

Well unfortunately it was misinterpreted. The first question was intended for Mimzy:
"does buying an adoptable give you the rights to draw and reproduce the character? And do you ever draw the adoptable creature at random times to further bring the character to life in a more precise and defined illustration? For example, if I were to draw adoptables, I might draw a purchased adoptable someday in the future for the person who purchased him/her."
In other words, I was simply asking Mim the following:
A. Can I use the character anywhere I see fit (which Mimzy has answered in replies)
B. Will Mimzy ever draw the character in the future again?
The reason I asked was for exactly the reason Mimzy stated:
"Depending on who you buy the adoptable from the rules for them may change."
