Maxime thought he was being as cautious as possible. Clearly he was outsmarted by the Pink Wrapper.

This plant disguises itself beneath the foliage and underbrush. When an unsuspecting Maxime stepped over it, he triggered the coiling response.

The pink tendrils quickly ensnared Maxime, wrapping his legs, torso, and subduing him by wrapping tightly around his neck and head. The tendrils slowly squeezed the air out of him until Maxime could hardly struggle, save for a pathetic whimper.

The Pink Wrapper will then guide its prey into the maw, which is located in the ground beneath the tendril. Underground, the plant expands into a pod shape, oozing slimy goop that would ensure no prey could escape.
